Timika Lane

Judge Timika Lane serves in the Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County; she was first elected in 2013. Judge Lane has spent time with Muslim communities and attends the annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner at City Hall. Judge Lane is culturally competent and has demonstrated fairness in accommodating the unique needs of Muslims. Judge Lane’s trial court experience is extensive. She has overseen criminal appeals from the Philadelphia Municipal Court, presided over criminal cases in the Major Trials program, and handled investigative grand jury matters.
